REU didn’t begin with windows, doors, or design.

It began with friendship — real, honest, life-giving friendship between people navigating hard seasons and seeking something true. Over 11 years ago, a chance opportunity in the home improvement world brought this group together. What started as a few friends stepping into a new field quickly grew into a journey of building skills, experience, and deep connections.

Through that first opportunity—and many seasons since—we learned the industry inside and out. We grew from new faces to seasoned professionals, gaining expertise in sales, design, construction, remodeling, and project management. Along the way, our circle of friends expanded into a team rooted in trust and shared values.

Homes are sacred spaces—places where families rest, grow, and invest deeply. And the industry serving those homes? It needed more heart, integrity, and people-driven leadership.

Together, we realized we weren’t just building a business—we were building a culture.

That heart gave birth to REU — a Hebrew word meaning friend.
It also stands for Real Energy Upgrade — reflecting our commitment to upgrading homes and elevating the energy of the entire industry.

Our path hasn’t been without challenges—health battles, financial risks, personal transitions, and the wild ride of launching a locally owned company. But through it all, we’ve experienced growth, miracles, and a team that feels more like family than coworkers.
